The MasterCard Foundation is exploring avenues of support to promote management capacity in microfinance. An estimated 100 scholarships are likely to be offered through thirty three training and academic institutions of the MFMI global network. The scholarships will cover a portion of the cost for practitioners to attend training events they otherwise might not be able to attend. This scholarship program provides the MFMI an opportunity to create synergies and commonalities in how trainings are evaluated among its network, creating better data on impact and the skills of professionals. The MasterCard Foundation is an independent, private, charitable foundation based in Canada. Through its funding grants, it intends to broaden access to the global economy for the financially excluded through innovative programs and quality educational opportunities. In 2008 it also gave a parallel grant to the Microfinance Center (MFC) in Poland, which is also an MFMI Network partner, for similar scholarships and to the Boulder Institute, the Frankfurt School of Banking, the Microfinance Leadership Program of Accion and Harvard University, and the School of Applied Microfinance in Kenya.Specific notices and advertisement about these scholarship offerings rest with the training institutes and universities.About Us | MFMI Affiliates | Resource Library | MFMI News | Contact MFMI© 2008 The Microfinance Management Institute, a joint venture of CGAP and the Open Society Institute разделы рак кишка холодильный агрегат купить пк измеритель освещенность кулер тихий mastercard
